Well, we decided quite last minute to run off for a night of camping in the mountains nearby. We ended up in San Isabel, about an hour southwest of here. The leaves were starting to change, it was absolutely beautiful. On the way home we stopped and walked around the lake and toured Bishop's Castle. It was really nice to just get away for a little while, if even for a night. Here are some shots from the trip. It was a little cold at night, thankfully we got a little one room cabin with a loft (beds only, no kitchen or potty). I like the picture at the end where Lizzy is just crashed out once we got home (she has something smeared on her lips, I think it was her fruit snacks she was sucking on ;D).

Looks like a lot of fun. I love it when the leaves change colors this time of the year. Your little guy looks like he is having a great time!
How CUTE are your kiddies?!? The picture of the tree's and all the fall colors looks like a postcard! What a fun family... we have never gone camping as a fam but you have got me thinking we need to!
Cute pictures! Looks like fun!
What beautiful trip! I bet it was so nice to get away!
Does it really count as camping if you are in a cabin? jk. :) My definition of camping has changed tremendously since having children. It's a lot of work! The canyon looked beautiful. What a great time of year to go.
