Animal lovers, do not read this....

So we have had a little bunny issue in the backyard. We have 2 rabbits that are there each night nibbling away on the yard and leaving the whole thing covered in little bunny poops. It is driving both Joe and I nuts. Who wants to walk in a backyard of bunny poop?

Joe decided to get a BB gun and has set out to "resolve" the issue. Last night he was successful and my goodness you should have seen the goofy grin he had. I tried to catch it on film but he was too quick for me. He looked like he was 12 again and just did something really awesome. It sure made me giggle. So here is to the first of our prairie experiences, bunnies beware... you have a trained Marine in your midst (lol)!

Happy Easter!

We hope that you are enjoying a wonderful Easter with your family! The girls had a terrific time hunting for eggs yesterday and just in the nick of time, this morning we had snow!

The hunt is on! You can see the "prairie brown" behind them, this is the field next to our house.

They looked so beautiful in their Easter dresses

Yesterday was such a great day too! The girl's got to go to their cousin Megan's 5th birthday at Chuck E Cheese and then the Mom's headed off to a baby shower for my cousin Alli. She is just glowing and beautiful!

The family quilt, made in the early 1900's has been passed to each new mom. Alli gets a turn now!

Safe and Sound

Well after much hard work we are finally here and half settled! A great big thank you to Gay and Bob who shared the 12 hour drive with us out here! And to Aunt Pam, George and Scott for all your muscles and organizational skills!!! You all are so wonderful and it is amazing to have such a great family to lend a hand! The girls also did amazing. They are looking forward to making some play dates soon though, I think Emily is getting the itch.

Joe has started work and the girls and I just got our gym pass, can we say yippee! The grasses here are still brown and I think we will need to learn a different love of the "desert prairie" then we had of those beautiful mountains but we have high hopes. So if you ever want to come visit there is always a free room for you! We haven't taken any pictures lately but once we do I will get them posted.
