We are homeowners!

Can you believe it, after 9 years of marriage, 4 kids, the Marines, College and living in 3 states we have purchased our first home! We are so excited and whew is there a ton of work though!


I do have to say how wonderful people are. Just this morning I had 3 friends call and offer to watch the girls while we signed the papers and it was such a great help. While Joe was outside trying to tackle the enormous weeds today, a friend came out and started pulling alongside him. How truly blessed we are. I just can't believe how far we have come and how many people have helped us to get this far. So thank you to everyone! Our door is always open and there will always be a bed waiting for you!

Summer Fun

So you all know what a slacker I am, the girls have been taking swim lessons and each Friday they jump off the diving board. Well who was the one mom without her camera?!?! The girls love the water though and lizzy has even started to swim under water now too! They both jumped all by themselves off the diving board too, so brave. These girls are definitely little fish...
















A friend of ours also came up with the great idea of a summer camp. There were 4 moms and 8 kids participating. Each day one mom would have all the kids and teach something fun. My day was cooking and they all were so cute, it really turned out awesome (thanks Shalyce!). The other days were Sports, Music & Craft and Science. These are some pictures from Shalyce's day, they made bird houses and enjoyed smores for a snack. Notice how I missed taking pictures at our house??? (maybe someday I will get back on the ball lol)


Isn't it so cute too, just sitting and talking with friends, they are getting so big!

Speaking of getting big, can you believe Jackson is already a month old? This man is so awesome. The girls still love to hold him whenever they can and he has even started smiling and cooing at us.

A Pornography Free Internet

So this 4th of July was just amazing. Our absolutely wonderful cousins, the Beckers decided to share their vacation with us and we all had such a great time. Thank you guys so much!

They were on their Uncle's houseboat over at Lake Pueblo and had all kinds of fun toys too. Each day we would head over and spend the day hanging out together, swimming and boating. The girls loved it because they got to spend time with their cousins Megan and Maddie and each night they were just exhausted. It is so great living by family! We are missing you guys already! Jackson did amazing too, he hung out on the boat and slept through all of it!
