Here Chicken Chickens

The chickens are all grown and ready to move into a new home... so Joe built a chicken coop! He did a great job and the chickens really like it. Most of all it is really nice to have them out of the garage. The bad part though is once they were outside, Lizzy opened the door to see them and one got out. Daisy went right after her and we had to pull her off. It looks like the chicken may just have an injured foot, she hops around on one leg and it is really tender on the pad of the other. So we will see if she heals up or not. We also picked up our other chicken from the Valdez's and they all seem to be getting along great.

I have also been meaning to post the video of Jackson when he first saw his little blue bunny for Easter.... It is the cutest little guy!

My little Hannah

Yesterday I took the girls and some of their friends to see the Hannah Montana movie. They were so excited, Emily had talked about wanting to see it for awhile now so I thought why not? We picked up 4 of their friends and they were goofy all the way to the theater. About halfway through the movie a couple got wiggly but they all made it to the end fantastically. The best part however was at the end when I asked them all how they liked it, I got, "it was boring", "it was a grownup movie, they kissed, really boring". Can I say WAHOOO!!!! (I do have to note here that the movie is pretty good and Hannah only kissed one boy, one time). I had been kind of sad that my girls were ready for grownup things like Hannah Montana so when it bored them I was super happy. Maybe we can squeeze some more cartoons out of them after all. The whole ride home they talked about wanting to go back and see "Monsters vs. Aliens". That made my day.

Lizzy however bored she was did still stand up and dance for some of it and once we got home changed into "Hannah" clothes and danced around the kitchen. When I went to check on her before I went to bed, this is what I found. Originally she had on only jammies and was on her bed, this all changed once the lights were out I guess. Gotta love that girl.

Happ y Easter!

Spring has sprung! At least with a blizzard or two here. We have been having lots of Easter fun with egg decorating at Lizzy's school, a craft and treat day with the Franklin's and a BBQ and egg hunt with more friends. And of course the Easter bunny stopped by our house as well. The girls were up bright and early and hunting eggs at six o'clock! whew! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

So far behind, yet again....

Well time has flown by as always. We have been having a lot of fun though...
Some things that have happened in our house...
Jackson (who just hit 10 months) started doing an army crawl. He is up on his knees for a few minutes now but prefers the army crawl. It is just too cute.

He also is no longer nursing. The girls love this because they love to feed him. Lizzy also loves to tote him all over the house now too.

Emily and I also painted the dining room one day while Lizzy was at a friend's. It was fun hanging out with that girl, she is such a great helper. I don't have an after picture yet as I still have not painted the baseboards or taken care of the door. Joe, the awesome man that is, did hang the new light and blinds.
